Account Executive
Want to promote AI technology that actually reduces emissions and protects forests? As Account Executive at Deep Forestry, you'll drive deals in climate tech with the whole world as your market.
About Deep Forestry
Deep Forestry is rethinking how the world understands and manages forests.
We give our customers a deeper understanding of how their forests are developing and where risks exist. Our platform supports long-term planning, reporting, investment decisions, and climate-related projects. In short, we turn complex forest data into actionable insights - helping customers save millions while supporting a greener future.
Deep Forestry is a growing organisation with the ambition to scale in Sweden and globally. You’ll join a team of 10 people and work from a newly built office in central Uppsala. If you’re excited by the combination of AI and sustainability, we’d love to have you join the Deep Forestry team.
About the Role
As an Account Executive at Deep Forestry, you will work with new business opportunities and play a key role in moving sales processes from early conversations to closed deals. You will sell a complete solution for forest and land intelligence - combining data collection, analysis, and decision support in one data platform.
The role combines both inbound and outbound sales. You will actively prospect, build your own pipeline for small to medium size business customers. You will take full ownership of the sales cycle for incoming leads, while supporting larger opportunities together with the CCO.
You’ll collaborate with the sales team and the engineering department to understand the product and its value for customers. The role suits you well if you thrive in an early-stage environment and enjoy taking ownership of customer relationships and driving deals forward from the ground up. This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the company and take on increased responsibility within sales over time.
What You’ll Do
Own and manage the full sales cycle for smaller deals, from first contact to signed contract.
Follow up and qualify inbound leads to maintain momentum and clear next steps.
Support sales processes through CRM structure, coordination, and follow-up.
Prospect new opportunities via LinkedIn, events, partners, and networks.
What we believe you have
Around 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, including inbound and outbound sales.
Experience of working with CRM systems (such as HubSpot).
Experience of working with sales targets and performance metrics.
A curious team player approach - who likes to contribute with new sales approaches and ideas.
Fluent communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
Exposure to or interest in SaaS and data-driven products.
Experience of handling longer sales cycles.
Experience working in early-stage or growing organisations.
Able to communicate in multiple languages (Swedish, German, or French is a plus)
